Blues 101: Rhythm by Jody Worrell is a video lesson that will teach you the basic concepts of playing rhythm for blues guitar. Jody will teach you nine different blues chords and two different strum patterns with a bluesy feel. We'll play these new chords and patterns with a jam track to help you practice your timing.

Blues 101: Minor Rhythm by Jody Worrell is a follow up to our first lesson on blues rhythm guitar. You will learn two new strum patterns along with nine new minor blues chords. Jody will teach you how to play each of the chords along with detailed instruction on right hand strumming technique.

Blues 101: Shuffle Rhythm by Jody Worrell takes a look at a basic blues rhythm concept. Guitarists often use repeating patterns of single notes or power chords to create the rhythm part of a blues song. Jody will give you step-by-step instruction on how to play a few of the most common forms of these patterns.

Blues 101: Scales by Jody Worrell will teach you two of the most popular scales used when playing lead blues guitar: the A Minor Blues Scale and the A Minor Pentatonic Scale. Learning these scales is the first step in forming your own blues guitar licks. Jody will give you detailed instruction on how to play each scale and then practice them with you over a jam track.

Blues 101: Basic Licks by Jody Worrell will teach you nine multi-purpose blues licks that will become staples in your arsenal. We will use notes from the scales learned in a previous 101 lesson to create these licks. These licks feature essential blues techniques that you will need to know in order to play more advanced licks and solos down the road.

Blues 101: Intro Licks by Jody Worrell will teach you some major and minor licks that are used to kick off the start of a blues tune. These licks are called "back door" intros because they are based of the last four bars or the progression. Jody will teach you how to play each of these licks in detail with special focus on the harder techniques.
