Breaking Amish

A new group of Amish and Mennonite adults, Iva, Matt, Lizzie, Betsy and Devon, trade old traditions for a new life in Los Angeles. Lizzie is hiding a secret from her brother, Sam, who will do anything to keep the family together.

The cast arrives in Los Angeles, which proves to be exhilarating and exciting, but temptation isn't far behind. Meanwhile, Lizzie can't keep her secret much longer and an unexpected visitor makes everyone fear for her safety.

An unexpected visitor enters the house demanding to see Lizzie, causing her housemates to smooth over the situation. The house gets even more crowded when a latecomer arrives and starts trouble.

The time comes to take the plunge and trade Amish clothes for an English makeover. It's a cause for celebration, until things take an unexpected turn. Then, all eyes are on Betsy as her behavior becomes increasingly suspicious.

Betsy is confronted when more is revealed about what took place behind closed doors. Iva calls on her boyfriend, Sam, to help her in a time of need, and the group takes a spontaneous trip to Las Vegas.

The group takes Las Vegas, NV, by storm, but it's not all fun and games when Matt is wary of temptation. Betsy shows up with evidence that will change everything, and everyone must come to terms with an unexpected twist of fate.

Iva's fiance, Sam, says goodbye and simmering tensions boil over in the group. Matt starts a promising internship with a prominent fashion designer, and a surprise baby shower for Lizzie turns sour due to Devon's actions.

Devon's exile from the house prompts Matt to preach forgiveness to a skeptical crowd. Then, Betsy learns surprising news from a genealogist that leads to a spontaneous trip to Mexico.

The group leaves Los Angeles for home with no idea what fate has in store. Matt's reception from his parents is more dramatic than he anticipated. Then, when Lizzie goes into labor, the identity of the baby's father is revealed.

Sam does not approve of his sister's choices and confronts the father of her newborn baby. Andrew's past comes back to haunt him with his probation officer hot on his trail, and Matt reveals big news to the group.

Sam confesses to what happened with Betsy in Los Angeles, and Matt finds out there's a warrant out for his arrest. Later, the groups gather to meet Lizzie's baby and are in for a few surprises.

The group reunites as NBC's Michelle Beadle digs deeper into their rocky relationships and stunning betrayals. Nothing is off limits as Sam, Lizzie, Matt, Devon, Betsy and Iva set the record straight, once and for all.
