To the astonishment of everyone on the news, Santiago risks interviewing the most dangerous and wanted drug trafficker in the country. Without knowing that the outcome of that meeting would be a death, a detainee and a newscast in threat of closure.

Santiago begins to know in detail the misfortunes of the prison, while his companions try to unravel what happened the day of the interview and why Santiago is involved in the crime. Carla begins to have strange cravings and symptoms similar to those of a pregnancy.

Just as Dana begins to break out as the main news anchor, the arrogant Samantha arrives, ready to get in her way. Erika and César risk their lives exercising their investigative journalism while Santiago in prison faces old enemies.

Santiago begs Machete, his cellmate, to teach him the infallible "power of the towel", a defense technique that will help him fight the multitude of enemies he has inside the prison. On the other hand, César gets himself arrested in any way possible to enter the jail with Santiago and thus carry out the escape plan devised by Erika.

Samantha manages to add Amador Rencilla, former presenter of the competition, to the Breaking News group, which makes everyone uncomfortable and intrigues them, especially Dana. And while Santiago and César plan their escape from prison, Raúl chases Carla so she can take a pregnancy test and put an end to his doubts.

Santiago, Cesar and Daniel, in the middle of the escape, do a "live" for the news while they interview Lieutenant Rivas in the studio. Erika exposes her report on all the journalistic investigation that she has been carrying out to reveal live and directly to the real culprit of the events.
