This time on Car Craft Video, John and guest mechanic Ryan Shand place a 6.0L Chevy V8 into a 2007 BMW E90. With this front-engine, rear-drive European wagon, who could resist?

On this episode of Car Craft, John and Ryan continue the LS-swapped European wagon build. Can the boys make it in time for Holley's LS Fest?

Kevin saves a classic 1967 Mustang coupe from the crusher at a local junkyard and joins John at the shop to turn it into a great weekend cruiser. They start by upgrading the suspension with a Heidts Mustang II up front and a new four-link in the rear.

John and Kevin tackle the Mustang's drivetrain, swapping in a 351 Windsor and world class T5 5-speed manual, along with a Holley Sniper EFI and conversion fuel tank, and showing the easiest way to convert any classic car from carburetor to EFI.

John McGann and team take a worn-out 1986 Buick Regal and begin transforming it into a 9-second Drag Week car. First up on the build list is installing a full drag race suspension kit from QA1.

Cody and team take parts off a 6.4L Hemi crate engine and put them on a warrantied-out 6.2L Hellcat bottom end. The result is an Edelbrock supercharged 6.2L Hemi that will go in the 1986 "G-Cat" Buick Regal build for Drag Week.

The LS-swapped E91 BMW wagon is finished, and John and Ryan head to Holley's horsepower party, LS Fest in Bowling Green, Kentucky! Ryan runs the wagon on the autocross course, and John straps it on the mobile dyno to see what the rear wheel numbers are.

John and Kevin knock out the final pieces on the Mustang, which Kevin saved from a local junkyard. They add an Old Air Products AC system, refresh the interior, and also plumb the brake system, then hit the back roads for some "spirited" driving.

Can the team finish the 1986 "G-Cat" in time for Drag Week? Follow along as we wrap up the build, defeat electrical gremlins and make our first passes down the drag strip.

Car Craft ventures into the world of direct injection and big-displacement modern engines that are readily available in the new and used marketplace. The build will be a 1972 Chevy Nova, and John starts at SEMA with Chevrolet's new 6.6L L8T engine.
