Team TRY3, Kamui, Ibuki and Kai break into Ryuzu's facility to safeguard the summoned units, retrieve the Depend Cards and take Ryuzu into custody, but Ryuzu's "company" keeps them all occupied.

Six months later. Ryuzu Myoujin is dead, but the Company that he kept carries on his will somewhere... Meanwhile, as Chrono, now a third-year student and Vanguard star, flees from a mob of fans, he encounters an enigmatic boy who talks about fixing the world much like the old, physically ravaged Ryuzu did.

Company member Hiroki Moriyama shows up at United Sanctuary Branch, but Branch Chief Ren and Tetsu are out. As the representative of the branch, Taiyou challenges Hiroki to a fight.

Chrono and Taiyou decide to pay a visit to Yuichirou Kanzaki, former branch chief of United Sanctuary, in order to get info on Ryuzu Myoujin and the Depend Cards. They discover Kanzaki carving giant statues single-mindedly deep in the mountains.

In order to prevent Hiroki Moriyama from recapturing Ryuzu's former lab, which is still being investigated by Ibuki and the others, Taiyou has a rematch with the insufferable Company agent. Through the fight, Taiyou closes in on the secret within Hiroki's heart, the reason he obstinately clings to the self-styled title of "champion of justice."

At the Dragon Empire Branch, Mamoru leads a meeting of the assembled temporary branch chiefs regarding Ryuzu's conspiracy. Suddenly, Enishi, the missing Dark Zone Branch Chief, appears among them.

A unit has materialized at last! But a lot of people suffered serious injuries from its attack, including Mamoru, who was hospitalized. The disaster happened right before Tokoha's eyes, leaving her with emotional scars and in a state of deep depression. But then a surprising visitor shows up at the hospital!

Chrono accepts Ryuzu's invitation and is taken to an abandoned factory, where they begin a furious fight. In the midst of it, images of long-forgotten memories run through Chrono's mind. Memories of Ryuzu and his father, Rive, as younger men, and himself as a small child...

As Shion, Ibuki and the others track down Chrono, who disappeared with Ryuzu, they clash with the hindering head honchos of the Company. Meanwhile, in the aftermath of Chrono and Ryuzu's fierce fight, the powered-up Depend Cards are unleashed!

Saya has become one of the world's most famous Vanguard idols. Now she's brought two powerful assistants from abroad to help her throw the Happy Vanguard Festival at Dragon Empire Branch.

When TRY3 and Taiyou are in the middle of a strategy meeting at Shion's apartment, Jaime shows up and takes them all to a South Seas island.

Ibuki and Chris continue to put up a desperate resistance against Ryuzu's steadily advancing machinations. Amid all of that, Chrono challenges Ibuki to a fight. The two of them finally talk about their feelings for each other and make a decision about what to do going forward.

Trinity Dragon infiltrates an experimental facility run by Company man Sousuke Wakamizu?! The three work together to expose the Company's evil deeds!

Luna has "nobly sacrificed" herself for the sake of a "perfect future." Or at least that's what Enishi claims when Am tries to get the comatose Luna back. What will the verdict be when Am and Enishi fight over their claim?

Just as scientific genius Sousuke Wakamizu has prepared everything to open the Stride Gate, Shinonome appears with his usual mischievous smirk and a desire to mix things up.

Thanks to Shinonome's meddling with the system, Ibuki has become immune to the "siren song" of Ryuzu's imaginary world. Ibuki confronts Ryuzu alone and challenges him to a fight with everything at stake!

The time to settle all fates has come! Shinonome has taken everything from Shion and now even brags that the destiny he's envisioned for Shion is coming to pass. Can Shion do anything to put a damper on Shinonome's warped sense of joy?

Inside the tower of light, Satoru Enishi appears before Tokoha. Meanwhile, Am is prevented from waking the comatose Luna by a materialized thought form of Luna that is determined to "save" Am, whether she wants it or not!
