In the 1960's, a group of housewives form a recipe club and hold normal dinners with their husbands to see who can make the best casserole. But friendly competition suddenly transforms into boozy flirtation and more than recipes get swapped at their parties. What begins as rowdy fun eventually lays bare the damaged lives and despair that could tear apart this seemingly close group of friends.
