Chai Chai

What seems like a normal day turns quite nasty for Chai Raja as he finds an elaborately dressed man at the steps of his tea shop. He also has a sumo as his assistant. The benign-looking stranger asks for a tea challenge which Chai Raja proudly take up. After all, who can beat Chai Raja?

It's a hot day and the one and only small table fan is the point of all attraction. Chai Raja deftly improvises for himself, but he is extremely concerned that none of his customers should have cause to complain. Sundar, himself too pouring from his pores, ignores his discomfort and sets about switching the blast of breeze to keep the customers cool.

Its Poodles birthday today and Sundar has planned to prepare the perfect cake for poodle "Aaloo Paratha Cake with Chai Frosting" but he has to do this while he is also taking care of the Hotel California's demanding customers. And Chai Raja should not find this out.

"Chai Raja in all gusto, pulls open his pantry and finds that he is out of bananas- now how will he make fries? Oops! Quickly putting Sundar in charge, Chai Raja hops on his rusty cycle and heads off for fresh stock. Meanwhile, Sundar sees the customers line up and for the sake stock.

On the anniversary, Chai Raja wants the interior to be swankier and hires a painter to do his forefather's portrait (looks a lot like him)- only the painter is a free-loader who paints less and swipes snacks more- and he is even shiftier than Basha. Sundar quickly notices the painter's nicking habits, but can't convince Chai Raja of the same.

It's a festival day and one of Chai Raja's customers has brought in a giant tusker who he parks outside the stall. But it is at the very same time that Sundar and Basha are steeped in a blind chase- a pan comes flying and knocks the customer out. As others carry him off for some first aid, Chai Raja entrusts the elephant in Sundar's care.

Chai Raja is in his inventive mood and rigging up a new treat for his customers. In streak Basha chased by Sundar and the two mess around the kitchen while Chai Raja has stepped out for a second. As he tosses stuff to keep Sundar at bay, Basha accidentally makes a couple of "special" jalebis. Chai Raja steps back in and the two freeze mid-motion.

Chai Raja has a wedding to attend and leaves the hotel's charge in Sundar's hands for the first time ever. Sundar wants to prove to his boss that he is truly capable. He is all geared up and tries everything possible to make tea in his boss' style. It is tea rain all over the place with the customers cringing and getting burned.

A movie shooting crew comes to the premises of Hotel California and decides that as their shooting location. Chai Raja is excited about the unexpected business opportunity. To Sundar's delight, it is his dream girl the Poodle who is doing a role in the movie. To Chai Raja's annoyance Sundar is all about wooing and impressing the girl poodle.

The street circus from which Basha escaped, returns to the village. And they see Basha running all around Hotel California. And they decide to get their ex-star attraction at any cost. Now Sundar teams up with the circus guys to catch Basha once and for all. The circus guys are putting up a really hilarious show trying to catch Basha; with Sundar's silly attempts in between.

Shantappa, a coconut seller has put his stall right next to hotel California. Sundar attracts customers by showing his antics. However, things change when Basha meddles in and joins the rival party. Soon the healthy competition turns into unending events of nuisance where the customers from both the stalls have to bear the brunt.

It's a very windy day and Sundar is having a tough time as Chai Raja sends him running in all directions- sometimes to throw more coconut fronds onto the rapidly diminishing roof, at other times to keep an especially thin customer from flying off!
