A 12-year-old preacher arrives in a small town surrounded by vast cornfields. He commands the children to murder all the adults so their blood can be used to nourish the crops. Told they can't dance, play or sing, and that they must sacrifice themselves to the fields on their 18th birthdays, some of the children attempt escape, but bloodthirsty Malachai hunts them down.
