In the Ozark Mountains of Hardy, Arkansas, Crowbar Russell discovers he may lose his farm to the bank. When his moonshine stockpile is also destroyed, he's convinced his nemesis Kerry Wayne Evans is behind it, and the first rumblings of war begin.

Crowbar Russell learns his family's land is going up for auction, and Kerry Wayne Evans puts his plan into action to win the property and push the Russells out for good. Crowbar must turn to The Baroness for help, but a favor from her comes with a price.

Kerry Wayne Evans misses out on a lucrative deal when a rental property mysteriously goes up in flames. Then, Marty Terrell and Mark Gordon are ordered to pay off Crowbar's gambling debt, leading Marty to go toe-to-toe with Crowbar outside a local bar.

Crowbar Russell discovers Kerry Wayne Evans' reason for wanting his property spells trouble for others in Russell Hollow. Then, tensions between Crowbar and Marty Terrell build to a fever pitch, and Marty's plan against Mark Gordon backfires.

Old alliances are dissolved and new ones forged, prompting the Russells to hoist the flag of war. Meanwhile, Kerry Wayne Evans destroys Crowbar's corn crop and his new ally, Marty Terrell, conspires to take down Mark Gordon.
