It is Gugu’s birthday and Nana decides to make him a cake. However, as she tells her friends what she is about to do, everyone wants to prove that they are in fact Gugu’s best friend and each one of them sets out to make their own cake.

Nana's kite has got stuck in her house’s roof. As she goes looking for help from her friends, she ends up helping them instead. As she's feeling down, Gugu makes her understand that helping others is a way to help ourselves too.

Pepe is playing with a flipped bucket as if it were a drum and Lili decides to join him. Soon, Toto comes by and also wants to join them as well. Suddenly, they hear that someone else is playing in the distance, and they discover that it's Nana and Gugu.

Lili is really bored and she goes looking for her friends, but everyone is going through a difficult situation. Gugu will help her understand that we may feel bad from time to time, but it's not a permanent situation.

Toto is walking in the forest and he sees some bushes moving suspiciously. He's found a Monster! Scared, he runs off looking for his friends. They then decide to compare the information to figure out what is hiding in the bushes.

Toto invites all his friends to play at his house. Nana happily accepts, but asks if her friend Quique can go too. When they all arrive at Toto’s house, they realize that Quique has an injured wing.

Nana's flowers are withering so she wants to water them but, there is no water! Scared, she goes to looking for Gugu and together they will find that the water is missing because Pepe has made an improvised pool in his garden.

The kids are having a race, but Gugu is left behind. Gugu arrives to the goal but none of his friends are there. As he is about to leave, he discovers a little sloth girl looking at him. She's amazed because she had never seen a sloth run like that before.

Toto is at his house when suddenly he hears a noise. He looks out the window and finds a yellow monkey. Toto is sure that all monkeys are purple, like him! He goes to his friends and asks what kind of animal looks like a monkey but is yellow instead.

Lili has a new friend called Yan-yan, a panda bear. Most of Lili's friends can't seem to get along well with Yan-yan since they can't understand them. However, Gugu knows how to speak Chinese and helps organize a game with everyone.

Toto and Pepe are playing soccer and Nana and Lili want to join in the fun! To their dismay, Toto and Pepe won't let them. They wrongfully say that "soccer is a boys' game". It is up to Nana and Lili to show them what girls can do!

Lili’s has to stay with her grandfather and that means she can't go outside to play so she is feeling bored and upset. In the meantime, Gugu is trying to play with a balero and looking for help from his friends but none of them know how to do it.
