Commandos

A small group of ordinary Australians are about to take part in one of the toughest military Selection Courses in the world. A physically, and psychologically grueling 6 weeks, designed to identify potential candidates for the 1st and 2nd Commando Regiments - extremely specialized, combat capable Australian Special Forces Units. More than half of the applicants will not succeed.

In a bid to be admitted into the Australian Commando Regiments, a small group of military candidates are now undertaking one of the toughest courses in the Australian Defence Force. They are pitting their bodies against the training requirements and the demands of highly discerning instructors.

Having survived the notoriously difficult Commando Selection course, the candidates have now been admitted into the Commando Reinforcement Training Cycle. Before they can earn the Commando Beret they must first master a series of complex and challenging courses designed to qualify the candidates in the skills required to operate as an effective commando.

After nearly 10 months of complex and rigorous training the candidates are now approaching the final stages of the Commando Reinforcement Training Cycle. They are still not qualified Commandos. The candidates will be tested on their ability to execute a combination of complex tasks. It will be the resolve test.
