Sibylle is a divorced single mother, estranged from her son Sam. Determined to make a connection, she takes him to a horseback riding trip to Kirghizistan. Without a computer and a bathroom, Sam, already a bad tempered young man, gets even grumpier. He does not miss an opportunity to provoke Sybille. Determined to make amends with him, she takes all "the hits" with patience.
