Liam's searching the internet for a holiday for him and Maria. Maria suggests the Lake District so they can take Ozzy.

Maria and Liam set off from their hotel in the Lakes to do some fell walking. Jason tries in vain to speak to Sarah but ends up leaving a message.

Maria clambers down to Liam but he's barely conscious. She finds his mobile but it's smashed in the fall.

As Maria waits for news the rescue teams search the mountainside for Liam. Maria phones the Rovers and gives Steve the terrible news

Michelle, Steve and Ryan arrive at the hospital. Michelle's thankful to hear Liam's going to be okay.

Michelle encourages Maria to talk to Liam and find out if he's really in love with Carla.

Kevin's nervous as it's the day of his court hearing. Sophie's worried about her dad and gives him her 'Make Poverty History' bracelet for good luck.

Carla's furious to discover the wedding's been brought forward and calls Maria a gold-digging bitch.

It's Ryan's 16th birthday. Michelle and Steve agree that he can have a party.

Nick explains to Ryan how he and Alex got muddled up at birth. Nick gives Ryan his address and drives off.

Liam's bored stuck at home but Maria insists it's on doctor's orders. Molly plans to give No.9 a make over when it's theirs

Jack sits next to Vera and puts on one of their favourite records. He sings to Vera unable to come to terms with the fact she's dead.

Jack's finding it hard to accept that Vera's gone. Paul suggests they need to start making the funeral arrangements but Jack just changes the subject.

Michelle and Steve arrive at the hospital. They're relieved Ryan's okay apart from cuts and bruises.

Maria's making wedding plans while Liam's deciding what to wear for his business weekend away with Carla.

Harry finds a pair of white stiletto shoes in the flat. Dan explains a girlfriend left them behind and he tries to get other girls to wear them for sex.

Carla comes out of the bathroom. She makes Liam close his eyes while she gets dressed.

Jack's worried he'll have to make a speech at Vera's funeral. David sets off for his court hearing with Gail and Tina in support.

Jack makes a lovely speech about Vera at the funeral. Everybody's moved.

Michelle gives Ryan the letter from Nick but he rips it up without reading it.
