Maria gets spruced up and calls at Frank's house for a business discussion. Becky's patience is tested as she spends the day behind the bar with Tracy. Gail tries to act calm about David's engagement.

Maria turns up at work to learn that Frank's rung Carla and agreed to the deal. Everyone congratulates her but Maria's uneasy, especially when Frank arrives at the factory to sign the contract behaving like nothing's happened. He apologises for misreading the signals but swears he meant no harm. As he goes Carla demands to know why Maria was so frosty with Frank.

When Frank returns to Underworld to sign on the dotted line he's met with hostility and admits he was drunk, misinterpreted the situation with Maria and is sorry. He then suggests withdrawing from the deal which put Carla on the horns of a dilemma.

As Graeme discusses setting Xin up with a mate (she needs to get married quickly to stay in the country) Tina fears there isn't time. As she rails about the injustice of the situation she's further angered to hear Kylie is brokering a deal for Xin to marry David in exchange for £2k. Desperate not to see her friend involved with the pair Tina suggests a plan of her own.

Xin's overwhelmed by Graeme's offer but Graeme stews, feeling Tina put him under pressure. Back at the flat Graeme admits he can't through with it and Tina agrees to tell Xin.

Tina 'dumps' Graeme. Locals are shocked as Tina and Graeme stage a public break up.

Sophie's low after her row with Sian but her family are too caught up in their own problems to notice. Sunita later finds her drunk and urges her to go home but Sophie does anything but as she makes her way to the church brimming with anger. An encounter with the pastor leaves Sophie's life hanging in the balance.

Sophie lies unconscious and the Websters are united in fear as they race to the hospital. It's a horrible revelation for Sally and Kevin as they learn the effect of their squabbles. As they wait at her bedside will Sophie pull through?

Sally questions Sian and is shocked to hear how Sophie felt neglected by her parents. Sally turns on Kevin and a bitter row breaks out over Sophie's hospital bed.

As Sophie accuses Sally and Kevin of being wrapped in themselves they reel. Over a drink they discuss their mistakes and Sally becomes upset. Kevin offers a hug as comfort and Sally responds. But how will she react when he moves in for a kiss?

Liz can't understand why Steve let Tracy take Amy without a fight, she's even more gobsmacked to find Tracy working behind the bar. Liz demands to know what's going on, will Steve reveal all?

Steve urges Liz to accept that Tracy is Amy's mum but Liz is having none of it and threatens to take her to court for custody. When Steve refuses to support her actions, suspicious Liz turns to Dev and Sunita for answers.

Becky tries her best to work with Liz but Liz shows her nothing but contempt and continues to point out all Becky's short comings. Becky finally snaps and grabbing a bottle of vodka, storms out. Steve tries to stop her but Becky's on a mission. Who is she gunning for?

Liz pours her heart out to Fiz, claiming Becky is ruining Steve's life. Finding her Steve placates Liz and persuades her to return to the pub saying that Becky's sorry for everything. But a drunken Becky is far from sorry and continues to vent at Liz. At the end of his tether Steve points out to Becky that she's driven away his daughter and now his mother. Will she drive him away too?

Becky tries to win Steve round but he's still angry and worried about Liz. Meanwhile Liz has decided it's time to move on and wash her hands of Steve and Becky. Calling in the pub to collect her things she tells Steve that Becky is going to ruin his life and she's not staying around to watch. But in a hotel bar Liz is met by a familiar face who makes her sees things in a new light.

Kevin's fortunes take an upward turn after learning that Sally spent the night with Jeff. Jim urges Liz to fight for the Rovers. Fiz welcomes John home from hospital.

Sally and Kevin row in the solicitor's office as she reckons she's entitled to half of his winnings and refuses to sign the papers. As the couple arrive back in the pub at loggerheads the women take Sally's side and the men take Kevin's. Kevin tells Sally he's fed up of fighting and reckons they should give their marriage another go with the comfort of money. Will Sally be bought?

Jim begs Steve to reconsider throwing Liz out but when he refuses to budge the fight turns dirty. With Steve out Jim meets Liz in the Rovers with Richard, an old Newton & Ridley contact. Explaining how Steve's running the pub into the ground Liz insists with her at the helm again it could be a goldmine, if the brewery buy Steve out and install her. Will Richard be interested?

Liz and Jim know they're bang to rights and reveal why Richard is in the pub. A row breaks out as Steve gives it to Liz both barrels, before firmly insisting to Richard that the Rovers is not for sale. Liz apologises to Richard but as he goes he gives her the ammunition to fight Steve. But as she uses it and Steve comes under fire Jim has a shocking proposition of his own?

It's frosty at the pub as Steve resents Liz's presence. Matters aren't helped when Jim arrives stating he wants to buy the pub. Steve reiterates his position, he's not selling. Steve's scathing but Becky wonders if they would be better starting afresh somewhere new with the kids, away from Tracy and Kylie. Steve's thrown, Tracy would never let him take Amy, but Becky's mind is racing.
