It's the morning after the night before and Kevin's upbeat, giving notice on his flat then telling Bill and Sophie that he and Sally are back together.

Tracy's adamant she won't be messed around by Steve anymore, if he's going to make a commitment she needs to know he means it.

Maria's worried about Carla, the factory's in trouble without any leadership and despite counselling Carla's not rallying. Masking his own concerns Peter agrees to speak to Carla.

Carla reels as DC Malone reveals Frank won his appeal for bail.

Carla's horrified to hear that Frank is within his rights to appoint Anne as his proxy in Underworld.

Carla's struggling to hold it together at work and when Anne questions her about losing a big order (the client last night) her brittle facade is shattered and she screams at her to get out.

Carla's astounded as Anne's removal men take 49% of the materials and machines from the factory but calling her solicitor she realises she's powerless to stop them.

As Carla's forced to lay Eileen off she accepts her fate but she's not quite so accepting when Lloyd admits he can't give her her old job back on the switch.

Marcus tells Sean he saw Paul with another woman but insists they don't tell Eileen until they're certain it is what it seems.

Eileen's confused when she wakes to find that Paul has already left. When she fails to get hold of him she starts to worry that he was only after one thing.

Rosie tells Sophie she's got a plan to break Sally and Jeff up, then Sally will get back together with Kevin and they'll be a proper family again.

Jeff protests his innocence but Sally believes her daughter's story and orders him to leave.

As a petrified Fiz is lead into court John watches from afar.

As Hayley takes the stand she does her best for Fiz but the prosecution have a damning case, supported by forensics.

Rosie tells the estate agent she'll meet the prospective buyer at the flat. Meanwhile in court Rita testifies and Ches does his best for his sister but the prosecution are quick to find flaws in his testimony.

Rosie begs John to let her go but her pleas fall on deaf ears as John makes her recite the evidence one more time.

As John lies unconscious in hospital Fiz hears the news and sees a glimmer of hope. The police interview Rosie about her kidnap ordeal.

As the crash team manage to get John's heart going again, Fiz visits her dying husband. At the hospital John regains consciousness as Fiz arrives with Hope.

Fiz is in turmoil over John but as she heads to court for sentencing she clings to hope that John's confession will have changed things.

Fiz is stunned by her latest change in circumstance and is forced to make plans for the future.
