Black Ghost is manipulating a conflict in the Republic of Muamba in West Africa by giving rebels a high powered tank called the Black Monster, hiding their agenda to steal the Metal X ore the Republic has control of. The 00 Cyborgs go to Africa to stop the conflict and 008 is forced to confront his own past as a soldier while reuniting with old friends.

As the fighting in Mwanba continues, 008 discovers his old friend Mamado has been turned into a Black Ghost cyborg warrior.

After the events of "Goodbye, My Friend", the 00 Cyborgs resolve to continue their quest and leave the past behind. However, the vile Black Ghost wants to capture them so they can research their powers, and sends one of their own to achieve this.

The 00 Cyborgs are sent to a war torn region where they hope to stop these incidents, only to find themselves in the presence of powerful beings who claim to be the reawakened Greek Gods of Mount Olympus.

The Cyborgs follow the trail of the Gods to their home on the island of Magma in Greece and have to scout the area as 003's powers are being blocked. However the Cyborgs are forced to yet again engage the Gods to create a diversion while 007 goes to survey their surroundings, resulting in 009 being defeated by Apollo.

As the war between the cyborgs and the gods continues, 007's reconnaissance mission reveals the truth about their belligerent enemies, while Artemis risks the wrath of Apollo to save 009's life.
