At one of Lucy's parties, Spike and Shane lock themselves in a bedroom, where one thing leads to another. When her period is late, Spike has to confront the consequences of her actions and quickly learns about the myths and realities of sex and reproduction

When Wheels' "real" father shows up out of the blue, he must deal with his feelings about his adoptive parents, his birth parents and his own identity. Spike confirms that she is pregnant, and she approaches Wheels for advice on the option of abortion.
