Last year, chaos reigned as students from rival school Lakehurst were forced into the halls of Degrassi, but Lakehurst's contribution this year is worse - its principal is especially tough on Degrassi's newest students, a gifted grade nine class. As the grade nines explore their new surroundings, so do Smithdale University freshmen Emma, Liberty, and Manny.
