Officer Brasgalla is called away from a birthday party when a barricaded gunman allegedly starts shooting off in a residential neighborhood. Later, Sergeant Dollinger leads an Internal Affairs raid.

Officer Hayes trains new SWAT recruits on the hazards of tear gas when the team gets called to resolve a domestic dispute. Sergeant Shepherd tries to put an end to an escalating gang war.
