Rex has become a hero on Dino Island, but he now faced by a new villain named Vito. In spite of the danger posed by the even more powerful Mecha Dinos, Rex and his friends are still awesome enough to defeat the villain.

A new Dino Core, Tri, has appeared, but as newcomers he is still pretty clumsy. Having disappeared after a blunder, Tri finds himself stuck in a predicament after falling into Vito's trap. Will Rex be able to save Tri from danger?

The new Dino Core member Mammoth has lost his memory, and is working at Sun Sun Pizza. Will Mammoth be able to regain his memory and join Dino Core?

Dino Master Akan appears to fight alongside Cerato, Mammoth, and Tri. They save Rex from danger and defeat the villain, but Akan tells Rex that he doesn't deserve to be a Dino Master, demanding that he relinquish his Tuner.

Rex and Akan are very different from one another, but come to understand each other a bit, in spite of their quarrels, while combining forces to defeat a Mecha Dino.

Rex and Akan decide to compete to see who can deliver pizza faster. As they compete at high speeds, a Mecha Dino blocks their way. Will they be able to beat the villain and still complete the pizza delivery?

Even the seemingly perfect Akan has something he cannot do. Rex tries to teach Akan to ride a bike, but it isn't easy. It isn't easy defeating the villains, either.

Darkno, who has lost his power and shrunk, tries to get the Galaxy Stone from Emily's father in order to regain his powers. Even Kaya shows up and raises a commotion as Rex and Akan defeat the villain.

Rex and Akan face off with Darkno and Kaya in a contest for the Galaxy Stone. They must win the hearts of the judges to claim victory and protect the Galaxy Stone.

In spite of claiming the Galaxy stone, Darkno still cannot return to his regular self and feels distressed about the situation. Rex uses this opportunity to try to befriend Darkno.

Akan and the Dino Core members have lost their wits because of the goofy gas, but Rex, and the other members who weren't so bright to begin with, are able to face the enemy and, with Darkno's help, defeat the Mecha Dino.

The pizza shop has been blown up. Rex and Akan face a massive attack from Kaya. Although they claim victory with some difficulty, Vito has hidden a device that causes a disaster for Rex and Kaya.

Left all alone, Akan fights a difficult battle with Vito. Rex then returns unharmed and faces Vito, whom they beat with the power of the Galaxy Stone. However, Darkno takes both Vito and Kaya's power to regain his original power.
