Don Quixote is a ballet in 3 acts, based on the plot taken from the famous novel Don Quixote, written by Miguel de Cervantes. The hero of the novel is a middle-aged gentleman from Spain. Obsessed with the romantic ideals of knights, which he read about in books, he decides to take up his sword and defend the weak and helpless thus destroying the wicked.
