After a happy start to their marriage, things fall apart when in a fit of rage, Ashar (Daniyal Raheel) divorces Dua (Ushna Shah). In an effort to rectify his mistake, Ashar asks his best friend Murtaza (Junaid Khan) to marry Dua. Will Dua's broken life ever go back to normal? Written by Wasiq Ali & directed by Ali Faizan, Dua is a Pakistani drama about love and betrayal also starring Zainab Ahmed.

Going against family wishes, Dua and Ashar are unable to start their life together. Ashar's mother pressurizes him to give divorce to Dua while Anushay asks Murtaza to delay the wedding for another three months.

After meeting Anushay and Murtaza, a slight misunderstanding arise between Dua and Ashar that forces Dua to leave the house.

Dua's mother asks about Ashar however Dua refuses to tell her about the divorce. Ashar shares his feelings with Murtaza.

As Dua's mother won't be able to listen about Dua's divorce, Dua asks Ashar not to tell about it to anyone.

Dua's mother is in critical condition and hospitalized. Murtaza informs Ashar about it however Dua ignores him.

As Ashar can only trust Murtaza, he asks her to marry Dua so that he himself can re-marry Dua and rectify his mistake.

On Murtaza's wedding day, Ashar dies leaving Dua completely shattered.

On Ashar's funeral, his father refuses to come as he is still angry with him for marraying Dua. Upset upon Ashar's death, Dua starts behaving abnormally.

Anushay and Dua's mother are concerned about Dua's health while Murtaza visits Ashar's grave and apologizes for not taking care of Dua.

Murtaza asks Dua to meet him in secrecy however Dua refuses him. News of Dua's pregnancy reaches Anushay and Murtaza.

Murtaza's family arranges a baby shower for Dua however Anushay's mother is not happy about it.

Anushay's mother tells Anushay about Murtaza and Dua's relationship however she chooses to ignore it. Shattered by the demise of her mother, Dua looks for a job for herself.

In efforts to inquire about Dua's wellbeing, Murtaza visits her however Dua's neighbour strictly asks her to not invite strangers at her house.

Murtaza is worried about Dua as she remains quiet and upset all the time. Anushay's mother is unable to bear Murtaza and Dua together.

Murtaza's parents are reluctant to go abroad as they can not leave Anushay and Dua in such condition. Murtaza takes Anushay and Dua along however Anushay have an accident.

Everyone is upset after knowing about Anushay's miscarriage while Murtaza's father falls ill.

Under severe stress, Dua blames herself for all the problems incurred by Murtaza's family. After delivering her baby, Dua leaves the hospital without telling anyone.

Anushay and Murtaza are worried about Dua's whereabouts while Murtaza's father asks them to file a report to police.

Unable to take care of the baby alone, Anushay is stressed out and blames Dua for every problem.

Anushay and Murtaza are busy taking care of Dua's baby Aliyan however Dua ends up in a police station.

Murtaza's father blames himself for Dua's condition and tells everyone to bring her back home.

Dua starts spending time with Murtaza's family and they get close to each other. Murtaza is ready to accept Aliyan as his son.

After finding out about Murtaza's marriage with Dua, Anushay thinks Murtaza is cheating on her.
