The Seane's move into Bassonia and keeping up with the suburban life is off to a bad start. Zee disappoints her mother yet again. Naledi finds Bassonia not such a welcoming community.

Justice lies in hospital and Khosi finds the family in a strained financially. The Pharaoh Investment Club seems to be the perfect solution to her problems. Ma Lizzie struggles to deal with bad-paying clients.

Khosi finds she's great at making sales for Pharaoh Investment. Dipuo wants better 'working conditions' but Eddy is a man you can't negotiate with. Johanna wants the stokvel to join Pharaoh Investment but the other domestics don't buy into her idea.

Instead of cashing out when she can Khosi reinvests in a new board for a bigger pay-out. Khosi and Zee continue to clash. Justice finds out about Pharaoh Investments and is unhappy.

Zee has a point to prove to her sister Khosi and she won't stop until she buys a share into Pharaoh Investment. Khosi's rise in the investment club comes with money, and trouble. Johanna buys shares without her stokvel's knowledge.

Khosi starts to feel like Pharaoh is a pyramid scheme but her attraction to Leano is more compelling. Johanna is starting to give up as she's bad at making sales in Bassonia, while in Soweto, Zee is a pro and gets people in.

Khosi wants to leave the investment club, but the lure of money (and Leano) is strong. Zee and Collins are also getting a cut from the people in Soweto buying Pharaoh shares. Meanwhile, Johanna is losing money by spending more to make more.

Zee is proud to be able to do something special for her mother but finds out an ugly truth about Ma Lizzie. Justice is back home from the hospital and Khosi tries to keep her infidelity secret.

Khosi decides it's time to leave the scheme, but letting go proves harder than expected. Zee and Collins are doing very well and Zee explores the perks of running her own scheme. But for Johanna, things are looking bleak.

Mr. Eddy makes Khosi an offer she wants to refuse but can't because it will benefit the needy. Dipuo is forced to eat humble pie and apologize to Khosi. With no sign of recouping the stokvel money, Johanna resorts to desperate measures.

Justice confronts Khosi about her affair with Leano. Johanna comes clean to the stokvel ladies about losing their money, and Zee gets reckless with her investor's money.

Khosi focuses on giving to the needy, but her desires start to tempt her. Meanwhile Dipuo discovers unsettling truths about Pharaoh Investment. Easter arrives and the stokvel money is lost to the scheme.

Johanna is shunned by her community and filled with shame. Having witnessed the shady dealings behind-the-scenes of Pharaoh Holdings, Dipuo asks Khosi to help prove that Dr. Nielson is a fraud. Zee, won't believe that Pharaoh Investments may be a scam.

An investigator starts asking questions about Pharaoh and Khosi feels the heat. Gugu Mcunu asks some difficult questions and everyone considers their answers carefully. Loyalties are questioned and many fear that someone may end up in a body bag.

Mister Eddy starts to note some discrepancies in the Pharaoh accounts and has his eye on Khosi. Zee's lies catch up with her and Dipuo discovers an unsettling truth.

Zee hears rumors of the collapse of the pyramid, but she's not ready to stop. Instead she discovers a dangerous alternative. Khosi and Justice's marriage is strained and even more complicated when she learns Leano and Dipuo are intimate.

Zee's actions come to Justice's doorstep in the form of an angry mob wanting their money. Khosi decides to end her affair with Leano but Leano confesses to having real feelings for her and reveals a vulnerable part of himself.

Khosi finally wants out of Pharaoh and she approaches who she thinks is a Financial Crimes Unit investigator, Gugu, to help her. Gloria starts getting antsy about her struggling investment so she pulls in Brian to help her sell.

Khosi decides not to take Mr. Eddy's threat lying down and fight fire with fire. There's a chill between Khosi and Justice as she realises her only refuge is with family. The stokvel payout is pending and a fight for the interest splits the group.

Khosi goes to the real Financial Crimes Unit, but realises she's complicit in Investment crimes. Dipuo sells Khosi out. Justice deals with his separation from Khosi and Moagi feels neglected by his parents.

Khosi secures immunity by agreeing to help the Financial Crimes Unit by double-crossing Eddy, but will she live to tell the story? As the Financial Crimes Unit build their case against Pharaoh Investments, sides must be chosen.

Khosi tries to get everyone to turn Pharaoh in but they have too much invested to bite the hand that feeds them. She and Leano come to a crossroad and Moagi is a child left unattended and decides to run away from home.

With the Financial Crimes Unit having lost their battle against Mr. Eddy, he turns his vengeance against Khosi. Zee and Ma Lizzie have a moment of clarity, while Justice and Moagi work on mending their relationship.

Khosi, Leano, and Dipuo take on Mr Eddy and suffer the consequences. Gloria tries to get something back by going to the Financial Crimes Unit, and Zee finds out she's been living a lie.
