"El Barrio" focuses on Mexico City's "hot" centric zone, Tepito with 20 likable characters, who offer tips about survival and recount stories about life on the run. El Barrio won Best International Documentary and Founder's Choice Award for at the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival (NYIIFVF) in 2007. It was also screened at the Berlin FF in 2009.
