Upon moving to her new home in Miami, strange things start happening to Emma as she meets her new crush, Daniel, and her new enemy, Maddie -- Daniel's jealous and popular girlfriend who has mysterious powers of her own.

Emma and Maddie have a hard time mastering their powers after discovering that they are indeed witches. Meanwhile, the Sharks set off a smoke bomb to get out of taking a test but things quickly get out of hand.

When a spell Maddie casts on Emma lands her in the nurse's office Emma meets Lily, the school nurse and her magical Guardian. Lily reveals that Emma may be the Chosen One and her powers could be stolen at the upcoming eclipse.

Emma 's magical powers intensify when she finds the Hexoren. While Maddie learns to undo spells, Diego tries to hide his discovery that he has powers of his own. Emma prepares for her first date with Daniel.

The Principal catches Emma and Maddie having a magic fight in the hallway and starts to become suspicious. Katie finds herself the subject of Diego and Mac's affections.

Maddie tries to use Tony's magic show to win back Daniel's affection. The Principal seems to be on to Emma. Lily finds out the Principal's awful secret, but before she can warn Emma she must fend off an angry Maddie.

Lily has been turned into a monkey and Emma must work to change Lily back before anyone finds out. Diego continues to explore his newfound powers, and the Sharks become suspicious.

While Emma and Daniel patch things up, the Panthers devise a plan to steal the Hexoren. Diego's powers spiral out of control, putting his friends in danger.

Now that Maddie has the Hexoren she is more powerful than ever. Julio tells Diego the truth about his strange powers. Daniel finally tells Emma that he wants to go out with her.

The Principal catches Maddie in the middle of spell and discovers that Maddie is a witch. Meanwhile, Julio and Lily realize they both belong to the magical realm and Emma is asked to erase Tony's memory.

Maddie romances an iguana, believing that it is Daniel. When she tries to change him back, she accidentally turns a chameleon into a boy. The Principal ramps up plans to steal the Chosen One's powers at the Eclipse.

Tony complicates Emma's relationship with Daniel. Maddie and the Panthers get to know Beau, the lizard-turned-boy, and Diego learns the origin of his powers.

After Maddie turns Andi into a Panther, it's up to Emma and Tony to hatch a plan to rescue Andi and reclaim the Hexoren. Lily reveals some disturbing secrets about the magical beings at Iridium High.

Andi has to keep "playing Panther" in an effort to get the Hexoren back.

Emotions run high at Beach Ball between Emma and Daniel. At the game, Maddie and Diego make some revelations.

The Principal puts pressure on Andi to tell her the location of the Witches Council.

Emma gets the flu and can't control her powers. The Principal takes a special interest in Maddie.

The Principal catches the T3 sneaking into the high school and makes a bold decision.

Daniel learns the truth about Emma and Maddie. Diego discovers the Principal's plans for the Eclipse and turns to the Sharks for help.

The Principal uses Daniel to lure Emma to an empty theater, where she plans to steal The Chosen One's powers for good.
