Ruthless gangster Paul is shot in a diamond robbery and left by his accomplices. He doesn't begin the prison sentence because the cool calculating Professor Krüger, mastermind of the robbery, is still waiting for his share of the booty. He frees Paul from the transport of prisoners. Together with Gloria, Paul sets out to pay a visit to the old partners.
