Family Travel with Colleen Kelly

Colleen Kelly explores Pensacola, Florida starting with a visit to the National Naval Aviation Museum. Get hands-on experience of their own at the National Flight Academy and visit the Pensacola Lighthouse to show off the sites. Shuck oysters, and take a high flying adventure parasailing above the Gulf Coast. The adventure ends throwing the first pitch at a Blue Wahoos baseball game!

Starting off, Colleen Kelly explores the Cardiff Castle, & takes a leap in time at the wildly popular Dr. Who exhibit. Travel up the coast to Swansea before learning how to play rugby from, Phil Bennett. Tour Portmeirion, a beautiful getaway tucked along the coast & ride the oldest narrow gauge railway in the world. Finally, Colleen gets her adrenaline pumping on the fastest zip line in the world!

Discover the family fun at the water playground known as Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri. Get an aerial view of the lake, which shows off its unusual snakelike curves. The shoreline is perfect for water sports of all kinds, from fishing to learning how to wakeboard with a world champion! Leisurely hike through Ha Ha Tonka State Park & discover the history of the castle ruins!

The vacation includes a behind-the-scenes visit to the first drive-thru safari park in the United States. Learn about turtle rescue & care followed by a surfing lesson & a canoe ride through Riverbend Park.The Palm Beaches would not be complete without polo and golf lesson and shopping on iconic Worth Avenue. Lastly, take an interactive tour at the Ann Norton Sculpture Garden!

Colleen kicks off the visit to Boston with a greeting from the seals at New England Aquarium. She visits the Harvard Museum of Natural History for a lesson in minerals and crystals. She learns how to properly crack open lobsters and takes the Freedom Trail Tour with a stop at the Old State House. Finally, a hands-on visit to the Museum of Science, where we developed our engineering skills!

A short drive from Quebec City, Canada, is Saguenay-Lac-St. Jean. Colleen Kelly starts by getting personal with whales, by taking a boat tour of the magical area. After visiting the whales' "playground," she goes to the Fjord Museum to literally dig in and learn more about the environment. Finally, visiting the Zoo Sauvage de Saint-Felicien where Colleen gets to play zookeeper for a day!

During the holidays, Chicago really comes to life! Colleen Kelly starts with the Christmas Around the World tree display at the Museum of Science and Industry. Visit to the Christkindl Market & a tour of the Thorne Miniature Rooms at The Art Institute. Visit a unique spice shop in the Old Town neighborhood where visitors can buy spices for their holiday recipes!

Starting the adventure with a scooter tour in Arosa, Colleen visits at a cheese factory to learn about one of Switzerland's most well-known culinary delights. At the Aletsch Arena area, she learns about the largest glacier in the Alps. Colleen tests her bravery & leaps off a mountain on a paragliding adventure. Last, Colleen tours a chocolate factory where you can make your own chocolate bar!

Colleen Kelly spends this part of her Swiss adventure with three families who show her the sites, tastes and fun that they enjoy in their own communities. A mountain bike tour kicks off the vacation, followed by a pizza-making class at a local pizzeria. Colleen finds herself at a nature playground called the Mooraculum. The vacation wraps up with a treasure hunt by train and a toboggan run!

Colleen heads to the Emerald Coast of Florida for a vacation along the Gulf of Mexico. They get a lesson in how to build a sandcastle & board a dolphin cruise, where the dolphins swim so close to the boat, you can practically touch them! Colleen meets a local chef to learn about the fish in the area & tricks for getting kids to try new foods. Lastly, the family tries jet-skiing for the first time!
