Flying at over 40000 feet beyond the reach of Allied fighters the Ju86P aircraft provided Hitler with a steady stream of intelligence. But in the summer of 1942 a plan emerged to send its bigger brother the Ju86R on a mission to antagonize Britain.

September 1942: Luftwaffe bomber pilot Horst Goetz was on a mission to strike Britain from over 40000 feet. One Royal Air Force officer—flying in a modified Spitfire—was Britain’s last hope to stop the German onslaught.
