Prabhu (Madhavan), a gifted boxer, falls victim to the dirty politics within the boxing association and loses his chance at the '96 olympics. Since then, he has been forced to worked as a women's boxing coach. It is during his tenure at Chennai that he mentors the feisty Madhi (Ritika Singh) into a first class boxer.
