Christian (Ivan Sergei), falls for a beautiful young Jewish woman, Alison (Jennifer Love Hewitt). To get a date he pretends to be a Jewish doctor named Avi Goldberg. Unfortunately the date goes disastrously wrong, so he persuades his childhood best friend, Adam Lipschitz, to give him a crash course on how to act Jewish so he can win Alison back.
