Bella decides to bring a taste of Italy to Pontypandy. In preparation for her celebration, Bella stops at the department store to pick up some last minute items. When Rosa escapes from her bag, Bella ends up missing the closing call and getting stuck in an elevator. Fireman Sam and his team race to the rescue and help give Bella a lift up!

Dilys Price has dreams of becoming rich and famous by finding an old heirloom in her attic. While searching for her treasure, Dilys accidentally knocks a candle over causing a fire. The fire brigade is on the call! It's Trevor's new job of filming the fire brigade that brings Dilys more riches than even she could have imagined.

When James tries to help a blackbird stuck in the brambles, he accidentally falls into an old quarry. Luckily, Fireman Sam knows the ropes and abseils to his rescue!

Fireman Sam is bored while on holiday from the station. He volunteers to help Penny plant her garden. While digging, a sinkhole opens up and Sam is buried up to his neck in dirt! The fire brigade races to get Sam back on solid ground.

When Trevor stops at a yard to grab some items for his boot sale, he gets trapped under a fallen stove. Norman, dropping off a box of items to sell, hears Trevor's cries for help and calls the fire brigade. Fireman Sam and his team race into action, but it's Norman's knowledge of chemistry that saves the day!

Pontypandy's Fire Station has the honor of flying the hot air balloon for Fire Service Week. When naughty Norman Price makes trouble, it's Trevor that goes up, up, up in the balloon. Trevor quickly learns that what goes up must come down.

When Station Officer Steele receives notification of his retirement, it throws him off his game. A fire in Trevor's potters shed raises the alarm and the brigade swings into action. But it's a call from headquarters that brings Station Officer Steele back into the club!
