Pontypandy's new Ocean Rescue Center opens and Ben Hooper, the new coast guard, arrives. Officer Steele is introducing the team to the new fire fighting vessels - Titan, the fire fighting boat, and Juno the new jet-ski. Choppy seas are proving tricky for Mike on his floating fireworks platform. Soon, an emergency arises. Fireman Sam and his team race to the rescue.

Sarah and James have two birthday parties, as they can never agree on a theme. Sarah's soccer party proves more popular than James' science party. When the two parties collide and a science experiment explodes... Fireman Sam and his team save the celebrations!

Norman wants to win the Pontypandy Cheese Roll Challenge, but was too late to enter! Knocking the rolling cheese off course, he embarks on a cheese chase of his own...becoming stranded over a cliff! Fireman Sam is on the call. With help from Radar, they sniff out Norman's location!

Moose's 'Winter Wonderland' of igloo building is not the wonderland Norman, Sarah, and James were expecting. When the kids sneak off to a frozen lake to ice skate, the lake begins to crack. It's Fireman Sam and his team, with their new winter firefighting equipment, to the rescue!

Norman's spectacular magic show with special effects brings lots of sparks...and fire. Mandy, the magician's assistant, needs rescuing. As Fireman Sam and the team put out the fire, Elvis passes the test of rescuing Mandy!

When the Pontypandy Pioneers go on a day trip, they forget to pull their boat on to shore and it gets washed out to sea. Stranded, James' smoke signals an SOS. When Norman tries to send an SOS of his own, he sets fire to the trees and bushes! Fireman Sam and Penny to the rescue!

On his day off, Officer Steele joins Sarah, James, and their grandpa Gareth for a trip in Moose's rowing boat. Grumpy Gareth thinks Steele is stealing his thunder with his grandchildren! When the two compete, they mistakenly send the rowboat towards a waterfall! Sam, Elvis and Penny perform a daring rescue, as Gareth and Steele must work together to stop the boat from going over the edge!

Norman, Mandy, Sarah and James are having a sleepover. To make it the Best Sleepover Ever, Norman decides to make a toasted sandwich and tell a scary story. The ridiculously overstuffed sandwich quickly catches fire in the toaster. Fireman Sam is called in to save the sleepover.

Bronwyn, Charlie, and Ben set off to find a whale. Out at sea, Charlie and Ben compete with each other on their sea-faring skills. When Bronwyn finally spots a whale, Charlie and Ben's dispute causes everyone to fall overboard. When the whale watchers haven't returned, Fireman Sam races to the rescue in Juno, as Elvis and Penny use the new sonar equipment on Neptune to locate them.

Mandy is excited to try flying in a hot air balloon. Before she gets the chance, Lambikins wanders into the balloon's basket and eats through the tethering rope. Soon, Fireman Sam is getting puzzling calls about a rather large creature that is going through town eating things.

Norman, directing his first movie up in the snowy mountains, accidentally starts an avalanche. Norman, Mandy, and Sarah run to take shelter in a hut, which becomes partially buried in snow and traps them inside. By following Sarah's transceiver , Fireman Sam and his team find and rescue the kids. Norman, using footage from the avalanche, screens his scariest monster movie ever!

Pontypandy's go-kart race is speeding up. Mike and Joe nostalgically enter the race and end up competing against each other to make the best kart. When Joe's Hover-Kart steering malfunctions, he shoots over the end of the quay and heads out to sea! Fireman Sam, Ben and Penny ride the waves to the rescue.

The Pontypandy Pioneers are building tree houses to earn a merit badge. Norman wants to be first so he rushes his job and does not check that his screws are in properly. When everyone climbs up on to the platform to begin buildingthe walls of the tree house, Norman's screws fall out and the tree house platform lurches to one side! Fireman Sam zip-lines in to the rescue.
