Fireman Sam

Mike wants to throw a garden party for his and Helen's wedding anniversary but doesn't want Helen to lift a finger. The BBQ is threatened by a storm, and when the power goes out it looks like everything is ruined. Mike fails to notice that he's left paper napkins on the electric stove, and when the power comes back on they catch fire! Mike learns that nobody can do everything on their own.

Charlie, Sarah, James and Norman go on a fishing expedition. All are astounded when they come across a lost baby whale, but when Norman decides to try to steer the boat they crash into the whale and start to sink. Sam and Penny in Neptune and Tom in Wallaby One, the helicopter, come to the rescue, saving Charlie and the kids and guiding the baby whale back to its mother.

Norman wants to convince James and Sarah that there's a dinosaur in a cave on Pontypandy Beach. He makes a dinosaur footprint out of drift wood and leads James and Mandy to the cave where he proceeds to make dinosaur noises. Unfortunately the tide comes in, leaving Norman and James stranded. Sarah raises the alarm and Penny and Sam come to the rescue in Neptune.

Norman is building a new go-cart and wants it to be the best ever. After a rocky test drive with the training dummy Norman is certain that the cart is safe, but he forgot about breaks and ends up careening off the harbor wall at full speed landing in the sea! Sam and Penny race to the rescue in Neptune and Norman realizes that he should wait for help next time.

Mandy gave Norman a model airplane kit for his birthday, but Norman is impatient and doesn't bother to read the instructions. Norman thinks he needs stronger glue for the plane, and ends up stuck to his bedroom door. The magnifying glass that he's been using to make the plane starts a fire on his bed. Sam and the team rush to the rescue. Norman won't be ignoring instructions again anytime soon!

Norman accidentally kicks his football at the fire alarm in the shop, setting it off. Norman tries to convince Dilys that the alarm was faulty and sets it off again. Sam is called out to another false alarm, and tells him the story of The Boy Who Cried Wolf. There is panic when a fox wanders into the shop. Sam and the team save the day when Norman sets off the alarm once more with his ball.

Sam and Elvis find Woolly lose on the road. The sheep has escaped through a broken gate so Sam takes her back to the Price's house until the gate is fixed. Norman is bored and takes Woolly out for a walk. But Woolly wanders onto the road causing the bus to lose control and end up precariously balanced on the cliff edge! Sam and Elvis race to the rescue and tow the bus back to safety.

It's mother's day and Norman is being lazy when it comes to Dilys' gift. He nails a bottle cap into a piece of wood and calls it a candle holder. While Dilys and Trevor are having dinner in the café the wobbly candle holder topples over causing a fire. Sam and team race to the rescue. When Norman realizes that it was his shoddy present that almost put his Mom in danger he's full of remorse.

A ship has spilled its cargo off Pontypandy bay. When James and Mandy find a crate, Mandy convinces him that it would be exciting to see what's inside. While trying to open the crate it topples onto James, trapping his legs. Sam becomes concerned when the crate starts ticking. Thankfully the crate turns out to be full of alarm clocks!

It's a hot day in Pontypandy but Trevor is refusing to accept advice about his old bus not being up to the trek up the mountain. The engine overheats and Trevor ignores Norman's advice and opens the hood, causing a fire to start. Sam and Elvis race to the rescue and quickly extinguish the flames. Trevor has to accept that he should listen to advice in future, even when it comes from Norman.

Norman and Mandy compete to prove who's the best at hide and seek. Norman hides at the top of the training tower at the fire station, but that afternoon it's being used for a practice exercise. Mandy and Tom are in the helicopter and spot Norman. Sam, Elvis and Penny leap into action to save him. Norman agrees that he'll be hiding at home from now on--although he's still the best at hide and seek!

James and Sarah won't stop competing over things. A nature trail might prove a distraction. However, the twins are off competing again to find something interesting from their walk. A tree hit by lighting in the forest starts a fire. The twins are in danger but are too busy trying to outdo each other to realize. Sam uses Radar to sniff out the twins and guide them back to safety.

James is feeling embarrassed about his homemade birthday card for Bronwyn. He goes looking for precious coins with a metal detector to buy a better present. Unfortunately James' enthusiastic digging under the cliffs causes a rock fall, leaving him trapped. Sam and Penny race to the rescue with the help of Radar's power of smell they quickly find the unharmed James.
