Follow the Money (English)

After a two-year stint in Spain, Nicky returns to Denmark as a hash smuggler for drug kingpin Marco and learns some surprising news about his son. Alf has a new job with the Task Force but his attack two years ago has left him struggling with PTSD.

Alf tries to keep himself together as he investigates a tragic basement case linked to drug kingpin Marco. Nicky’s family is torn and his son is paying the price. Meanwhile, financial advisor Anna decides to use her skills for personal gain.

Alf and his Task Force team are tracking Marco, but clashes with a colleague leads to conflict within the department. Anna finds herself in trouble as financial advisor for the criminal underworld but strikes up an exciting deal with Nicky.

Anna starts working for Nicky, using her position at the bank to launder his drug trafficking money. Following interrogation, Alf links Nicky to the basement deaths and suspects him as a co-kingpin with Marco. Nicky is reunited with his son.

Following a violent confrontation at home, Anna turns to Nicky for help. Alf puts Nicky’s apartment under surveillance, but when he doesn’t find what he was hoping for, he starts making rash decisions that will have fatal consequences.

Still recovering after the shooting, Alf confronts Nicky and starts a series of raids on dealers to find evidence against him and Marco. Nicky wants to hand over his business to his partner, Lala, to focus on his son, but exiting may not be easy.

Anna must stop Nete from cooperating with the police. Tensions arise between Nicky and Lala when Lala starts taking over the business. Alf is confronted by his colleague, Stine, about his substance abuse and the mysterious shift in the drug case.

A murder causes Alf to ignore the Chief Superintendent’s orders, with major consequences for the Task Force. Marco’s true identity is revealed and Lala confronts Nicky about their joint venture. Alf tracks down Anna as a possible lead.

Sahar saves Nicky after Lala’s attack. Anna realizes Nicky can no longer help her when her family becomes a target. Alf and Stine hunt the wounded Nicky, but find that he is one step ahead. The Chief Superintendent interferes.

Alf is on a vicious hunt for Nicky before he leaves the country. Nicky says goodbye to what means the most to him, while Anna accepts an offer she can’t refuse. Alf and Nicky are forced to acknowledge the tragic consequences of their actions.
