It's the perfect recipe for the ultimate culinary battle when America's best home cooks put their signature dishes to the test against five professional chefs. This week, a single web design manager from San Diego, CA tries to win $100,000 going up against culinary experts specializing in everything from Latin cuisine to seafood before facing off against celebrity chef Eric Greenspan, executive chef and owner of three popular Los Angeles restaurants.

"Food Fighters" has only featured adult contestants competing against the pro chefs, until now.

A Dallas stay-at-home Mom races against the clock to cook her signature dishes and compete against five pro chefs whose culinary expertise ranges from seafood to global cuisine to kosher Mexican dishes. In the end, she'll compete against acclaimed chef and cookbook author Brian Malarkey, who has created eight popular restaurants across the United States in the past four years.

This week, a California law student puts his signature dishes to the test, hoping to win $100,000 competing against pro chefs specializing in everything from Southern soul food to barbeque to American comfort food. In the final round, he'll compete against famed Italian chef Fabio Viviani to see if he has what it takes to beat the very best.
