Two years have passed since the harrowing events that rocked Silverhöjd. Eva Thörnblad has left Silverhöjd to return to the grey concrete of the big city and her job with the Stockholm police. (Nordic Noir, Thriller, Strong Woman)

Eva’s investigation is increasingly mysterious as doctors can’t explain why the man under the ice died the way he did. Göran Wass joins the Stockholm police, on a mission to conceal all traces of the supernatural.

Eva and Wass dig deeper into the investigation and find something that belonged to Eva’s mother long ago. Bahar becomes increasingly suspicious of Eva and Wass’s behaviour.

Eva and Wass find shocking evidence that more children’s lives are in danger. With these disturbing discoveries, the Jordskott takes an even stronger grip on Eva.

In Stockholm, Bahar comes closer to exposing Eva and Wass’s lies. Maja and Esmeralda’s new friendship becomes even more profound, but the Olsson brothers are hot on their trail.

Tom makes an irreversible decision. Kalem and Ida search for Robin’s kidnapper and take significant risks to find her. Wass is forced to do something he doesn't want to do in order to avoid catastrophe.

Eva finds more connections, but everything changes just as she thinks she is about to solve the mystery. Tom does everything he can to find the missing girls, but his decision has devastating consequences.
