Forget and Recall

Natasha is 17-year-old orphan that lives in small town Severogorsk. She commits petty thefts, but always remember her main task: to come up in the world and to live happy with her boyfriend Misha. But, Misha goes to the detention facility for stealing a boat. At the graduation, the main sponsor of the orphanage, businessman Leonid Mazov notices Natasha and asks a director to introduce them.

Misha tries to break out of jail, but fails. His last chance not to get caught is to move away forever. Natasha gets arrested for a theft in a perfume shop, but Leonid helps to release her. After all of this, Natasha receives his attention and even fall in love with him. They get married and make a posh wedding.

Natasha's married life is great. She's getting used to be a wife of a wealthy and powerful man. However, she is jealous of his first wife, Nina, because she was intelligent, well-educated and elegant. Natasha begins to educate herself. She copies Nina's dress, so Leonid gets furious and beats the girl. Later, Natasha finds Nina's diary and understands that she is married to a murderer.

Mazov forbade Natasha all contacts with her old friends. He often beats her. Because of one of such beatings she has a miscarriage and thinks about suicide. Until she meets Ksusha, who now works as a waitress. She takes her to the investigator that knows them from the orphanage, and suggests Natasha to make it look like she committed suicide to escape from Mazov's house.

Mazov, who came back from business trip, doesn't believe in suicide. He follows Ksusha, but everything is clear. Natasha, with a fake name Katerina Sokolova, leaves the town. On the railway station, she meets Pavel, a young pediatrician and they fall in love.

7 years later, Mazov begins an election campaign as he wants to become the Major of town. He's still single, and his stylists persuade him to marry again. Ksusha now is a successful programmer and a secret hacker. Her friend from the orphanage Anya is psychiatrist now, both girls are single. Natasha is a teacher, and happily lives with Pavel and their daughter Olya.

Olya disappears from school. Natasha and Pavel go to police, but there is no clue. Natasha feels the old smell of the Mazov's perfume in their flat and the next day she finds a bracelet Mazov gave her as a gift. She understands what it all means. She goes down and gets into the car. Back home Pavel doesn't find her. In the apartment across the hall was a robbery and someone wants to frame him.

Pavel tries to find his wife. He finds out that Katerina Sokolova isn't an orphan and has mother and fiancé. However, when he meets them, they didn't recognize Katerina on the photo of his wife, and the real Katerina had disappeared 10 years ago. So, who is his wife? The police investigator finds out that Katerina got into the car with Severogorsk plate number.

In Severogorsk, Mazov charms Olya, and doesn't allow Natasha to see her. Natasha lies that Olya is his daughter. Ksusha, trying to find the killer of her brother, finds out some connection between the killers and Mazov. She becomes a confidential informant for another candidate for the Mayor position. Pavel is trying to find out the story of the real Katerina Sokolova, who was a journalist.

Mazov tries to get along with Natasha. Pavel finds the director of the orphanage, but it doesn't help. Ksusha and Anya find Pavel and tell him the truth about Natasha. Mazov presents to journalists his wife and tells that she has an amnesia. Natasha has an idea how to get rid of Mazov.

Pavel, Marat, Anya and Ksusha are trying to understand what happened to Katerina Sokolova. They get the diary of Mazov's ex-wife, so they have dirt on him. Natasha makes a hoax to make Mazov thinks that there is a ghost of his killed ex-wife in the house. Eventually, he believes it. Pavel tries to meet his wife at Mazov's charity ball.

Gleb meets with an influential businessman, whose interests intersects with Mazov's. Ksusha, Anya and Pavel try to release Olya, but they fall into a trap instead. Soon, they all are free. Natasha is still in danger with inadequate Mazov. He wants to escape and persuades Natasha to come with him. Will she become the last victim of a crazy businessman?
