Friends to Lovers?

Four sets of friends risk it all when they try dating each other for the first time. In New York, a secret crush is revealed when Alex asks out Kris, his best friend of 8 years. Meanwhile Marshana hints to recently separated Stefan that her feelings may be more than just platonic. In Los Angeles, newly-single Charley asks his bestie Darion to be more than friends, while lovesick Sydney chases best friend and single mom Jin, whose ex-husband lives in her basement.

First dates between best friends prove to be problematic. Kris demands commitment from Alex before they even order dessert, while uptight Darion is ready to bail when the date Charley planned doesn't meet his expectations. Smooth Sydney gets a shocking surprise as he tries to woo Jin, and Marshana puts her pride on the line to get physical with Stefan.

Mixed signals cause major mayhem as the couples try to move beyond friendship. Sydney is set off when Jin confesses to dating other men, as Darion and Charley dive in for an awkward first kiss. Kris does some cyber-stalking that leads to a confrontation with Alex, while Marshana and Stefan try to relive their first date from 4 years ago, with disastrous results.

Things get complicated for the friends-turned-couples as Marshana confesses her secret love for Stefan. Sydney tries to win back a skeptical Jin, while Charley is called out for sneaking off to a party without Darion. Kris confronts Alex with a list of everything she wants him to change.
