That's the question GolfBarons sets out to answer with an - albeit shaky - 8-Second Challenge. Confusion, cheating, arguments and fluke shots all combine to ultimately decide whether the curse of slow play has been cured.

Few could argue that golfers come in all shapes and sizes. And even though today's pros are more body-conscious, it's fair to say we're not all built like athletes. But you can play good golf whether you're slim, fat or any other shape. GolfBarons pits Shooter against Philbert in a gut-to-gut beachside battle taking the term hitting it fat to new lows.

In a game with as many rules as golf, some will be accidentally broken from time to time. However, we all have that one friend who's a little looser with the 'Rules of Golf' than most. These bandits can ruin the round for all. The 'GolfBarons Guide to Banditry' lays out a string of dodgy moves seen on course, in the hope you can recognise them should any ever occur among your dodgy foursome.

The two ageing Barons - Philbert and Kippa - are sent out to build and roadtest the Motocaddy M7 Remote Control Buggy and in true GolfBarons fashion, it ends up being a race across some hilly, winding terrain with Kippa giggling like a giddy schoolkid and Philbert chasing him like a badly-injured drunken giraffe.

Many believe caddies are nothing but glorified bag-carriers, others - namely loopers - insist they're an integral part of golf. In this Amazing Race style caddie challenge, the lads have to avoid stepping on the world's most dangerous snakes, navigate a series of checkpoints through dense Australian bush and complete mini-challenges along the way - all while racing against the clock.

In this rapidly changing world, we're seeing more and more instances of clashes between old world ideals and the new. In golf, this is no more evident than the division we see between the tradition driving-iron purists of the past and today's modern hybrid-loving brigade. Philbert attempts to bridge the divide between these two diverse groups to bring some peace to the conflict.

Many inspiring tales and stories of redemption have been seen in golf. Yet when it comes to the most inspiring tales of overcoming adversity, our minds quickly turn to those in the All-Abilities community. To highlight the skill and the challenges these golfers overcome daily, GolfBarons sets out to conduct a One-Leg Challenge.

One of the more confusing golf concepts to grasp is that of club bounce, especially evident on wedges which today come in a wide variety of options with varying lofts, lie and grind combinations. Course conditions, too, can also change which bounce works best for you on any given day. The Barons set out to understand and explain the real effect bounce has on our shots.

Kippa has always professed to be a competent proponent of a drill he teaches called, 'The Blindfold Drill'. But what would happen if he was taken outside of his controlled environment and didn't have a visual frame of reference of the ball before putting on a blindfold and swinging? To find the answer, Philbert decides to be a blindfolded Kippa's eyes for an entire hole, from tee to green.

Golf is a game that travels. All that's needed is a club, a ball, a little bit of space and a creative imagination. That's what Philbert was thinking when he invited Kippa out to play on a golf course, of sorts, he grew up playing. Fair to say Kippa got more than he expected, because it was a lot less than he expected. Welcome to the simplicity (and fun) that is Rural Golf.

Throughout Season 2, the lads have all found themselves battling it out at various times trying to win something. Anything. Whether Interstate Golf Tennis, Electric Motorised Buggy Racing, or the One-Leg Challenge, the three GolfBarons are uber-competitive beasts. They decided to have one last skill challenge, and agreed to devise a unique challenge best suited to their own skillset.
