Still mourning the loss of her beloved grandmother, single mother Tsidi must move in with her estranged mother Mavis, who works as a live-in domestic for a white ‘Madam’. The house brings back alienating childhood memories for Tsidi, and she meets disturbing, supernatural resistance. She starts to suspect that Madam is not as sick as she seems and is conducting a campaign of terror against her.
