Good With Wood

The competition begins as Mel Giedroyc welcomes nine passionate woodworkers to the shop where they have just two days to craft a dream-worthy bed. Then, judges Helen and Alex must decide who will chisel another day, and who will be the first to leave.

The pressure is on as the remaining woodworkers are challenged with building a collector's doll house. The devil's in the details as the competitors have just two days to complete an epic showpiece would normally take weeks to make.

The remaining woodworkers joint, carve and chisel like never before as they face the toughest build of the competition so far -- a chair. The competitors reveal their strengths and weaknesses with this build before the judges issue one final surprise.

The quarter final heats up and goes wild as the woodworkers take on animal sculptures. They must chainsaw and carve their way through this colossal big build and unleash their inner beasts as they attempt to uncover the animal within the wood.

Mel gets the semi-final started as she tasks the woodworkers with the ultimate test of craftsmanship -- creating a decade-inspired drinks cabinet. The competitors craft sliding doors and complicated mechanisms in a bid to make it through to the final.

The three finalist woodworkers take on the biggest and most-epic build of the competition -- a towering garden building. They'll have to summon all their strength, endurance and creativity to pull off this big build and be named Britain's best woodworker.
