Hooterville is abuzz as the townsfolk enter a contest sponsored by Peterson's Poi Juice, with a trip to Hawaii as the top prize. But no one expects the winner to be Arnold, the Ziffels' talented pig. Maybe a pig might fly after all, to the islands!

A charity rummage sale asks for donated clothing. Being among the wealthier residents of Hooterville, the organizers look to the Douglases. It isn't long before Oliver has to stop Lisa from giving away his entire wardrobe!

Love is in the air when Eb is quickly engaged to Loreli Appleby, whom he has only known for a day. Eb tries to impress Loreli's father, a farmer, but in typical fashion, he accidentally ruins his future father-in-law's cabbage crop.

When Fire Chief Joe Carson is looking for a way to go to Miami, he hires Oliver as his assistant, hoping Oliver will pay for the trip. The plan backfires, no pun intended, when Oliver starts pointing out what a poor job the chief has been doing.

The highways in Hooterville are in dire need of repair. Oliver is fed up and believes he can make a difference by complaining to his state representative, Ben Hanks. But Hanks' popularity proves greater than his sense of responsibility.

Lisa feels like she should be contributing more and wants to start working in Oliver's construction business. Lisa is like a fish out of water as she arrives to the Monroes' workshop in overalls and causes one problem after another.

Lisa plays bovine matchmaker when Oliver and Lisa decide it is time for their female cow, Eleanor, to start providing milk for the farm. Oliver makes arrangements for Eleanor to mooooove in with the neighbor's bull, but Lisa has other ideas.

The townsfolk look forward to "Old Mail Day", when once a year undelivered mail is handed out. The delayed mail includes a letter all the way from 1917! Oliver is upset by the poor service, but his complaints land with more impact than he intended.

When word spreads that an agricultural student is coming to Hooterville to study with county agent Hank Kimball, no one seems to be interested. However, things change when the folks discover that the student is an attractive blonde.

This episode tells the unusual tale of Hooterville's founding. As the town prepares for its centennial, Oliver announces a reenactment of the town's origins and casts himself and Lisa in the roles of Horace and Doris Hooter.

When a blue feather arrives in the mail for Lisa, her Hungarian roots tell her that trouble is brewing. The feather is a symbol of malfortune to come, and she suspects it was sent by Hungarian gypsies, a warning that they are out to get her.

Oliver finds out their home has some real zoning issues. It turns out a portion of the house is actually in Pixley, the town next to Hooterville. Oliver decides the solution is to pull the entire house over to Hooterville.

Sometimes you should look a gift horse in the mouth. This crossover episode costars none other than the famous Mr. Ed. When Oliver gives Lisa a horse for her birthday, she discovers that her gift not only talks, but knows its name, too!

Don't count chickens before they hatch! Oliver thinks he's laid a gold egg of an idea when he decides to dive beak first into the business of raising chickens. Lisa, on the other hand, sees little difference between raising chickens and children.

In married life, even on the farm, the cream doesn't always rise to the top. Lisa and Oliver have not been getting along lately. To avoid getting on each other's nerves any further, Lisa suggests that she and Oliver take separate vacations.

All that glitters is not frosted cereal. After a jewelry heist in Chicago, the robbers foolishly stash their booty in the grain bin of a cereal manufacturer. Oliver and Lisa discover the jewels in their bowl of Crickly Wickly!

Oliver Wendell Douglas returns from farm to firm... law firm, that is. When a young and ambitious local graduates from law school, he looks for a potential partner in Hooterville. Oliver is the logical choice. Lisa and Eb help the new venture.

After partnering with a young, local lawyer, Oliver has opened a new law office in Hooterville. However, their secretary, Lisa, shows a lack of necessary skills. Soon, Lisa's job is on the line, even if she is married to one of the partners.

When the Young Peoples Agricultural Society holds their annual convention in Washington, D.C., local members Eb, Mr. Kimball, and Arnold the pig get ready to make the big trip. Oliver and Lisa serve as unintended chaperones.

While Lisa and Oliver consider what to do on their unplanned trip to Washington D.C., Mr. Haney rents their house to a family of eight. Meanwhile in the nation's capital, Lisa and Eb tour the White House, and Mr. Kimball makes official trouble.

When a charmingly sweet doe wanders onto the Douglas farm, an enchanted Lisa befriends the beautiful animal. Having had her heart won over, Lisa resolves to have all deer hunting banned in Hooterville, winning support however necessary.

After learning that their Hungarian marriage license is actually a license to practice dentistry, Oliver and Lisa realize their marriage was never made official. Lisa feels it improper for her to live with a man out of wedlock, ands move out.

Farmhand Eb plans to take his girlfriend to a fancy restaurant for her birthday. Only problem is he can't afford it. Oliver encourages Eb to get creative and figure out how to earn the money himself. And if Eb is anything, it's creative.

Lisa becomes enchanted with the diary of a Lydia Plunkett. Found in an old trunk in the barn, the diary from 1898 tells Lydia's life story as a successful businesswoman. Eb and Lisa are glued to every page of the story, but Oliver isn't impressed.
