Oliver dreams of entering his crop in the Corn Festival, but the dreaded "Bing Bug" invades Hooterville's farms. After learning of his service as a WWII pilot, the locals volunteer him for the perilous task of flying the town's only crop duster.

A water shortage plagues Hooterville and the townsfolk hire Willie the Well-Witcher, but the results are mixed to say the least. As an alternative, Oliver (Eddie Albert) proposes that a pipe be built to draw water from a nearby reservoir.

Oliver and Lisa agree to "pig sit" Arnold while the Ziffels enjoy a second honeymoon in Niagara Falls. But the Douglases quickly learn that Arnold is no normal pig...especially when Arnold receives a letter from the United States draft board.

When a lovely, young and successful farmer comes to Oliver (Eddie Albert) for his legal counsel, Lisa (Eva Gabor) quickly becomes jealous of the two spending time together and becomes determined to break up what she sees as a budding romance.

When the Monroe Brothers show up to fix the Douglas's closet, Lisa learns that Ralph is devastated because her true love has stood her up on another date. Lisa's solution: an intensive, two-day beauty treatment for Ralph…and the barn for Oliver!

Oliver (Eddie Albert) takes to his soap box, delivering fiery, patriotic speeches after getting a bill from the State Farm Unattached Duty Tax for an outrageous $12.03! But no one can figure out why the tax is levied in the first place.

Lisa (Eva Gabor) is curious to learn about the book that Oliver (Eddie Albert) is reading. It is the "real-life" story of pioneers Gus and Etta Thompson. The episode flashes back to the 19th century with Oliver appearing as Gus and Lisa as Etta.

Eb (Tom Lester) seeks dating advice from the Douglas's after laying eyes on former classmate Betty Jo Bradley from "petticoat Junction." Oliver's well-intentioned guidance has mixed results when Eb hilariously misconstrues the advice he's given.

The locals complain that Oliver's penchant for wearing business suits to do farm work is ruining Hooterville's image. Oliver tries to adjust, but the last laugh is on him when Lisa has her dressmaker design Italian him some swanky new overalls.

The Hooterville Chamber of Commerce attempts to attract a Hollywood film studio to shoot a movie in town. And when a rumor spreads that famous actor is arriving, the townsfolk are all abuzz as they prepare for their close-up, Mr. DeMille!

Fed up with the house being in dire need of repair, Lisa demands that Oliver arrange to have the house redone or she's moving back to New York. Oliver agrees, but is delayed when Mr. Haney claims that their farmhouse is a historic monument.

Everything is topsy-turvy and henhouse hijinks ensue when one of the Douglas' hens is found to be laying square eggs! News of this kind gets around quickly, and the townsfolk all get in on the race to capitalize on the impressive novelty.

Oliver is absolutely determined to have a truly old-fashioned Christmas, including decorating his own farm-grown tree. But warm weather stands in the way and, he discovers, the residents of Hooterville aren't exactly as traditional as he thought.

In true Hooterville fashion, Oliver (Eddie Albert) discovers that the town is vehemently split as to which weather reporter they trust. As debates rage over which forecast is correct, Oliver plants his tomato crop, hoping for the best.

After another disastrous effort from Lisa in the kitchen, Oliver implores her to take a home economics class at the local high school. Before she knows it, Lisa is a fully enrolled student...the likes of which Hooterville High has never quite seen.

When the Hooterville City Council appoints Oliver (Eddie Albert) to judge the apple competition at the annual fair, he mistakes the honor for a real judgeship and prepares for his time on the bench! But a run-in with the real law clarifies matters.

Lisa visits Oliver's mother who is recovering from an illness. The doctor advises that she rest in a peaceful environment...and thinks that Hooterville sounds absolutely ideal! Of course, he doesn't know Hooterville, where peace is never…very close.

When Oliver (Eddie Albert) discovers that Hooterville has a still-valid contract to build war planes, he spearheads the opening of new government defense plant. But as chaos ensues, Oliver soon wonders if the move was a big mistake after all.

Lisa is appointed as head of Hooterville's new "Human Humane" committee. A perfect fit for animal-lover Lisa, and a relief from her boredom in the countryside, she soon has a menagerie of both farm and exotic animals living at Green Acres.

Oliver takes Lisa along to an agricultural convention. There, Lisa bonds with an ex-gangster couple, who insist upon teaching the Douglas's some of their shortcuts to successful farming. It turns out to be an offer that Oliver can not refuse.

Oliver champions agri-tech as way to increase productivity on the farm, but when a computer gives its assessment of the Douglas' marriage, Lisa (Eva Gabor) begins to question her union with Oliver. It's bits versus bytes in Green Acres!

An official-looking letter from Washington D.C. spawns whispers that Oliver (Eddie Albert) is hiding a secret from his neighbors. With guesses flying fast, the truth eventually comes out: Oliver has been offered a job with a prestigious law firm.

The Hooterville Players plan to stage a charity production based on the TV series "The Beverly Hillbillies." But when the original cast falls ill, Oliver (Eddie Albert) and Lisa (Eva Gabor) step in as "Jethro" and "Granny" to save the show!

Determined to teach his spendthrift wife Lisa how to save money, Oliver insists that she learn about farming...by growing her own vegetables! In her own inimitable fashion, armed with useless pamphlets from Mr. Kimball, Lisa sets to tilling!
