The most famous bear in the Tetons, Grizzly 399, attempts to raise a large litter of four cubs. The family must contend with increasing conflicts between people and bears. But 399 makes increasingly unexpected and consequential choices to protect her family, making her and the cubs both a favorite tourist attraction and potentially dangerous bears.
