A gunman kills enlightenment supporters. Emperor Gojong secretly orders Park Jin Han to go after him.

Yoon Kang helps Soo In deliver her teacher’s book to Master Oh Kyung. The gunman’s shadow approaches them.

Yoon Kang and Soo In catch feelings for each other. Yeon Ha, Yoon Kang’s sister, disappears out of the blue.

Yoon Kang and Jin Han fight the gunmen to save Yeon Ha. Kim Byung Je tries to charge Jin Han with treason.
