Eccentric and kind-hearted young man Vijay refuses to obey his father's wishes of getting married. His endless pranks drive his father crazy to a point where he is asked to leave home. In search of a new home and career, he arrives in Bombay with a half-ticket. He falls deeply in love with Rajnidevi and decides to marry her.
