HALF OF A YELLOW SUN: Based on a novel by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, the film follows the lives of four individuals during the Nigerian civil war in the 1960s. Odenigbo and Olanna's relationship is threatened by the conflict, which also separates families and drives them from their homes. Despite the hardships, the characters manage to survive.
