Hermie and Friends Shorts

Hermie wants to snack on a sweet rose petal, there’s just one problem: he can’t reach it. When his solution leads to a big mess, Hermie refuses to tell the truth about his mistake. With the help of his friend Wormie and the book of Proverbs, Hermie learns that telling the truth is always best.

Hermie and Wormie are headed to a party but they aren’t sure how to get there. Tempted by distractions, Hermie keeps forgetting his friend’s advice to stay on the straight path. In the end, Wormie reminds him through Proverbs 2:12-15 that the straight path is always better.

Although he’s not thrilled about it, Hermie helps tell the classic story of Hermilocks. After doing exactly what the narrator tells him to do even though he is unsure, Hermie learns through Proverbs 1:10 to be careful who you listen to.

Hermie is excited to help tell the classic story of Caterpilla because he has a list of wishes he wants to come true. When things don’t seem to be going his way, Wormie helps Hermie understand through Proverbs 16:9 that it’s God’s wishes we should want.
