Hero Inside

Mike inadvertently acquires a comic book titled 'Crying Man'. The moment he curiously utters 'Crying Man?', the actual superhero springs forth from the book. / Black Knight, under Dirk O's command, sneaks into a house to acquire a Hero Book but accidentally starts a fire.

Nick is excited at the prospect of becoming famous by creating superhero videos with Mike, and even crafts a hero costume for him, much to Mike's chagrin. / Dirk O, who has forcibly detained Nick to retrieve a Hero Book, proposes that he joins a ridiculous online comic book organization called Council of Comics, and Nick is bewildered by this proposition.

Nick teams up with Mike to uncover the identity of the masked man who, with his Disco Duo superheroes, aids the school's bullied Ed. Meanwhile, Dirk O, angry at Mike for taking his Hero Book, encounters the enigmatic Krista… / The everyday lives of scattered superheroes, including Humming Birdman, Mr. Justice, and Professor Z, are revealed across San Francisco.

Dirk O receives several Hero Books from Super Scatt and is proposed to work together. Meanwhile, Mike and Nick, while chasing a pickpocket, run into X, leading to a battle over the Hero Books… / Feeling sad to have lost Crying Man's Hero Book, Mike gets happy to be assigned in the same group with Lucy for history class.

X appears at Mike's house! Threatening Mike to hand over all the Hero Books, Mike ends up fleeing with Crying Man... and the secret about X's identity is revealed! / Dirk O has overthrown the city hall using the superheroes from the Hero Books! / The epic battle between Dirk O, the Council of Comics, and Mike, X unfolds at the city hall! Mike's potential explodes!
