Oskari is top cop in narcotics, thanks to his uncanny sense of the drug underworld. However, his skills come from a jaded past; Krista, the mother of his child, is a drug addict living in the criminal underworld. Now she appears at his doorstep.

Oskari is faced with the challenge of trusting his former lover turned junkie. Niko is invited to a party, but with Krista’s past drug problems, she worries that Niko might get entangled in the trouble she could bring.

Julius and Kode prepare a shipment as Oskari trains Krista on acquiring the right information to listen for while acting as his informant.

Kode violently confronts Krista when she visits Jonttu’s apartment, leaving Krista in fear for Jonttu’s life. Although Oskari and Krista mend the tension between them, Krista’s presence still leaves Niko asking questions about his birth mother.

Oskari is shocked to find an image of Krista dealing with the criminal Kode, and confronts her loyalty. When Niko discovers that his mother is still alive, it leaves him disdainful of Oskari for keeping the truth from him.

Now that Niko knows his birth mother, he attempts to spend time with her, but Krista pushes him back. Oskari pressures Krista to provide more information on the drug dealers as the narcotics team gets closer to confrontation.

When Krista comes over to visit Oksari, Juulia, and Niko for dinner, a very awkward and tense dinner ensues. Niko, pressed to know his biological mother, begins to bond with Krist, only to leave Juulia feeling estranged and full of angst

The narcotics division gets ready to raid Julius's huge upcoming cocaine shipment. Oskari gives Krista fair warning of the raid, so that she doesn't get entrenched in the arrests.

Oskari attempts a bait and switch, telling narcotics that Kode was his informant to keep their attention off Krista.

When the narcotics squad moves in to raid Julius' place, some of his thugs pick up Krista and Niko. Juulia confronts Krista about how she's having a negative impact on Niko.
